flangu supports 31 languages. Any of them can be paired as a front (source) language and a back (target) language, in either direction, on a per-deck basis.

Pairing languages
There's no fixed "from English" direction. Each deck has its own front language and back language, set independently, so you can learn from any of the 31 into any other — for example Spanish into Japanese, or Ukrainian into German. See Setting languages for how a deck's language pair is chosen and changed.
Native and learning language defaults
The Native language and Learning language fields in Settings only set the default front and back language for decks you create afterward. They don't affect decks you've already made, and Native language additionally decides which side of a card is treated as "yours" when a deck's Review Mode is set to Native on front or back. Audio across languages
Every language in the list above has a high-quality cloud voice available to flangu Pro subscribers.
Note
Belarusian does not yet have its own distinct cloud voice and currently uses the Russian voice instead.
On the free tier, or when you're offline, flangu falls back to your device's built-in speech engine for any language instead of the cloud voice. See Audio and text-to-speech for how that fallback works.
